Mobile Threat Net User Testimonials
We’ve been using Mobile Threat Net for field operations since spring 2004. Since then, it has become our most useful source for weather data while mobile.
During May and June, our primary mission is to forecast and intercept tornadoes on a daily basis. Mobile Threat Net is activated in our vans typically by late morning and remains on until late in the evening. We have access to Doppler radar animation and other helpful weather information no matter where we track storms. We call it our "24/7" radar. While other data sources fail, Mobile Threat Net keeps working. It’s always on, always there to help us get to the right storm, or to avoid a dangerous storm when we need to. The GPS feature we added this year is an extra benefit, allowing us to see our position relative to the storm.
Mobile Threat Net is always there for every encounter with Mother Nature.

I am not normally one to issue notes of gratitude to representatives of
companies from which I purchase technology, and I have tried many. For
example, last year we went with Weather Data's Storm Hawk, and while it was
of value, I decided to try the Baron Threat Net this year based on some very
positive feedback I had received from other chasers that I know.
Having said that, I am extremely pleased with your product. It is the best
piece of chasing equipment I have ever seen, let alone owned. The Threat
Net has perfomed flawlessly, and allows me the ability to get closer to the
storms than I ever thought possible with such a large group of students (14
students, two vans and a sedan). Not only are we able to get close, which
makes my job as instructor so much easier, it allows us to be safe while we
extract ourselves from the systems after dark.
I have told everyone I know, including all of the media for which we have
provided interviews, that I will never chase again without the Threat Net.
It is, hands down, the best piece of chase equipment I have ever purchased.

"We really rely on Mobile Threat Net and constantly promote it. We are always telling other chasers how great it is. And it just keeps getting better with the recent additions of satellite fronts, etc. We love the product! Thank you so much!"
"...we bought Mobile Threat Net after the Hallam, Nebraska tornado because we just about drove into that monster. My husband said, "that's it, you are getting that new satellite radar, I don't want to lose my wife!" Since that time we have come to depend on it and have made some great intercepts depending completely on Mobile Threat Net-- no more nowcasters. We absolutely love the product and wouldn't be without it. We have recommended Mobile Threat Net to so many others I feel like we are advertising it already! You have a great product and there is nothing out there that compares to it."

"Radar data in the field is one of the most important tools a storm chaser can have. I have been chasing storms since 1982 and I have to say that the addition of the Mobile Threat Net System in 2004 was the best thing I've put in my vehicle since a cell phone. MTN was by my side for each of the 18 tornadoes I documented. The data was timely, accurate and totally exceeded my expectations. I cannot imagine hitting the road without it!"

"I have owned the Mobile Threat Net since it forst came out and it has saved me time after time. It allows me to see where the action is going so we can head that way and get ourselves in position... The botom line is keeping the viewers safe and informed and I feel the Mobile Threat Net helps me do that better... I won't chase without it."
