Baron affiliate WxWorx has teamed with XM WX Satellite Weather to provide satellite-delivered mobile weather data to boaters on the nation’s waterways, as well as in its offshore coastal waters.

WxWorx on Water is the result of this partnership, allowing boaters to view radar, lightning data and more on a properly equipped portable PC, all utilizing reasonably-priced weather data and equipment.

Maritime leader Garmin has also signed on, producing its own GPS-enabled display solutions for the XM WX data stream.
