Mobile Threat Net®
  • Mobile storm tracking
  • Designed for use by public safety officials
  • Satellite data delivery
  • Easy to use and reliable

Mobile Threat Net® is a wireless, street-level storm tracking system officials can take with them in their vehicles.

The system works on any portable PC, such as a laptop or Tablet PC. The other required hardware includes a satellite antenna and receiver.

Users can view radar, track storms at street-level, view lightning strikes, analyze wind shear and more in the localized display. All storm parameters are shown in a site-specific display complete with city names and major roadways.

With the optional GPS interface, users can track their position in the mapping display as an overlay over the storm data, allowing them to constantly know their proximity to dangerous areas of the storm. A flexible mapping display, along with user-friendly pan and zoom tools, make Mobile Threat Net easy to operate.

Mobile Threat Net employs much of the essential weather technology found in the operations center and repackages it in a mobile variant, allowing users en route to a disaster zone or area of interest to stay informed of weather conditions.
