OmniWxTrac's patented capabilities accurately determine storm movement along with estimated times of arrival into communities, in addition to providing enhanced local radar control for rotation rate, tilt angle and more.
Storm Cell Identification and Tracking (SCITs) employs Baron’s own processed algorithms to accurately determine the direction and arrival times of storm cells bearing strong wind shear.
For customers in regions prone to freezing precipitation, Baron offers Snow Machine data, which provides visual differentiation between rain, snow, sleet and mixed precipitation.
OmniWxTrac can also display most of the other line of Baron data products.
Meteorological data depicted in the OmniWxTrac display is tied to latitude and longitude coordinates, ensuring accurate representation of the storms in context with the mapping. OmniWxTrac allows the meteorologist to perform pixel queries on the data, determining the precipitation falling over an area of interest. The system also provides display of current conditions and camera imagery from remote sensors.
