256-Color Volume Scans with COBRA® Integration

With the powerful Doppler processor in every Baron radar sensor, multi-tilt 256-color scans can be performed in real-time. The resulting volumetric information is ingested into the Baron Product Generator (BPG), which applies Baron’s patented COBRA® technology to the radar data.

This process allows numerous data products to be generated on-the-fly, and displayed in real-time on the OminiWxTrac® and VIPIR® displays, including:

• Storm Cell Identification and Tracking
• Severe Weather Module data
• Snow Machine
• Hydrology Package
