Remote Weather Sensors

For users requring remote sensing of meteorological conditions, Baron offers a suite of networkable weather sensors.

The data returned includes:

  • Temperature
  • Wind speed/direction
  • Rainfall amounts

Multiple sensors can be integrated into a single network, displaying seamlessly over radar data in the OmniWxTrac® or VIPIR® displays. Sensor data is refreshed automatically every 3 seconds, ensuring timely and accurate updates.

This information can be displayed as an overlay on the mapping, or in a standalone graphic. Real-time communication is ensured through an Internet connection between the operations center and the sensor site.
