Baron radar sensors feature both local and remotely controlled operation, the latter employing the OmniWxTrac® display. Through an easy-to-access control menu, meteorologists can use the system to control the following functions in their radar system:

• Range
• Elevation angle
• Rotation rate
• Operation mode
• Clutter cancelling

By introducing these capabilities into the operations center, it provides enhanced flexibility in on-site radar control.
