Baron's exclusive Snow Machine® provides site-specific winter precipitation totals while distinguishing between the different types of precipitation.

The power of VIPIR® or OmniWxTrac® combined with Snow Machine gives meteorologists the ability to precisely analyze winter storms, evaluating their effects over time on their areas of responsibility. Data products available include estimates of snowfall and mix totals for the past 24 hours, a real-time model showing where different types of winter precipitation may be, as well as a number of national mosaics.
