How Neighborhood Weather Net Works
Flexibility is one of the key characteristics of Baron products. We like to provide unique ways to make your weathercasts shine. The Neighborhood Weather Net sensors employ several means to get your community commitment noticed.

First, if you have a Baron FasTrac system, you can have sensor readings shown right in the mapping display. Use FasTrac’s localized mapping capability to highlight place names. By installing your sensors in highly visible locations like local schools, museums, or even town halls, you’re giving the viewers recognizable landmarks they can relate to. The sensor data is interesting to them because it becomes relevant.

Integration with FasTrac also allows clients to preset thresholds. When one of these thresholds is exceeded, the sensor location changes, alerting the meteorologist and the viewer to changing weather. A simple click yeilds instant data detailing what is happening in the affected area. This feature is quite beneficial during breaking weather events, providing accurate, localized content when it is needed most.

With Neighborhood Weather Net, you own the sensors, so there are no exorbitant licensing fees. Baron Services makes setting up an entire fleet of these awareness-boosting devices a practical affair, available to you at a minimal monthly operating cost.
