How Mobile Threat Net Works
Users first install the Mobile Threat Net software on any portable PC (e.g., a laptop or Tablet PC). The other equipment required is very simple: a receiver and antenna. Once these items are set up and the XM WX subscription is activated, there’s no limit to where Mobile Threat Net can go.

Once in the field, your spotters have access to nearly every weather parameter that you do. High-resolution nationwide NEXRAD and storm tracking is just one of the many features; users can also view storm attributes, lightning strikes, winds and more in the localized display; even shear markers, indicating Dangerous Twisting of the Winds™ are a standard feature.

Even better, all storm parameters are shown in a site-specific display complete with city names and major roadways. An optional GPS/Mapping Upgrade displays local City Streets®, for the ultimate in site-specific storm tracking.
