» Display data from your live radar on your station’s home page

» Neighborhood IRIS can also integrate NEXRAD data

» Use any number of views, showing tight zooms or distant maps

» Go as local as you want—use icons and community names to depict your viewing area

The prominence of the Internet has become almost overwhelming. Baron’s comprehensive suite of community involvement tools provides an opportunity to increase your weather team’s visibility, and with Neighborhood IRIS™, that extends even to the web.

Neighborhood IRIS (Internet Radar Imaging Server) gives you an avenue to share your live radar with the public via your station’s home page. Share any number of localized views, complete with icons and community names, in a display that looks very similar to the on-air FasTrac system. And because it’s 100% digital, the image quality is crisp and perfect.

Neighborhood IRIS automatically refreshes the latest data; updates can be set to occur as often as once every 3 minutes. You can also configure short delays to the update cycle, ensuring that your on-air broadcast is the first source of severe weather coverage.
