Every Baron storm tracker comes with interstates and major highways displayed out of the box, but with the City Streets® mapping module, meteorologists can display local roadways with a high degree of site-specificity.  No matter how rural your viewers’ location, you can plot a storm’s path, labeling local roads instantly, showing them when they are likely to be affected.
Label Streets on-the-fly
The street labeling capability comes to you from Street Spotter®, a powerful mapping tool that lets you see the name of any roadway in the liquid database by clicking on it. For the next level of localized display, you can then drag the mouse across the street, creating an instant on-screen label that remains on-screen for as long as you want.
You can also set up local landmarks in the database, letting you label actual locations in a similar way. When it comes to site-specific weather analysis, Baron gives you every available tool to maximize your capability.
