How Snow Machine Works
The power of VIPIR or FasTrac combined with Snow Machine gives you the ability to precisely analyze winter storms as they move in, evaluating their effects on your viewing area. Data products available include estimates of snowfall and mix totals for the past 24 hours, a real-time model showing where different types of winter precipitation may be, as well as a number of national mosaics.

The system provides updated data every 5 minutes, so not only is it the most accurate and site-specific winter precipitation system, it’s also the fastest.
