» Show visible and infrared satellite imagery

» Updates every 5 minutes and in some cases, once per minute

» Allows full control over cloud brightness and opacity

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide weather systems with multiple year-round uses, Baron Services offers high-resolution satellite data for its VIPIR and FasTrac systems.

How Satellite Imagery Works
Baron allows satellite imagery to be integrated into its storm tracking systems. You can then interact with the data on-the-fly, with no rendering required.

Our innovative approach to capturing GOES data enables us to deliver visible and infrared satellite imagery with unprecedented timeliness, updating every 5 minutes. In the case of rapid-scan imagery, available with the Data Service Package, satellite data can be obtained as fast as once a minute.

Additionally, you can use simple picture controls to adjust brightness and opacity of the clouds, ensuring that visible imagery is usable even as darkness falls.

This kind of capability brings a usability to your storm tracking system that guarantees its usefulness extends throughout the year, not just during severe weather. It’s all part of the complete weather solution philosophy to which Baron Services adheres.
