Baron has been leading meteorological innovations for over twenty years. During that time, we have developed incredibly precise storm tracking and Doppler radar technologies. Our pioneering work with XM Radio resulted in the XM WX Satellite Weather service, a leading provider of datalink weather information for the United States. Staffed by highly trained meteorologists who ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Baron data, we have deployed weather monitoring systems in many countries, including the integration of a full weather service solution for Romania. In addition, the data compression techniques we’ve developed are well-suited to mobile environments, requiring little bandwidth to distribute a wealth of high-accuracy data products.
