Data Services Programmer - 2/1/08
Baron Services, located in Huntsville, Alabama, currently has an opening in its Application Development Group for a Data Services Programmer.
Primary duties will include providing day-to-day research, development, and programmatic support for all Baron value-added data products to be used in Baron Services products and services; and monitoring of the data flow both terminating and originating in the Baron Network Operations Center to ensure quality, availability, and timeliness.
Applicants must possess a B.S. Degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university. A strong technical working knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems, strong problem solving skills, and programming experience, preferably in C and/or C++, is required. Network or Systems Administrator experience is a plus. This position requires strong attention to detail in addition to outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
